For musicians, it can be challenging to find collaborators and manage agreements, especially for those who just started their journey. Independent artists often spend too much time trying to connect with others through social media or attending offline events. On top of that, they deal with expensive and complicated legal processes to formalize their work. A client, a global music industry executive and innovator, came to us with a clear goal: to solve these challenges with a single software app.
We stepped in to help. Our team worked closely with the client to create a solution designed specifically for musicians. We drew from our experience in product design and software development to make sure the platform would address the biggest pain points in this area.
The result was Feeture – an iOS app and website where musicians can find collaborators, agree on terms with ease, and sign legally binding documents. The first version has already positively impacted artists. It helps them save time, reduce costs, and focus on what they do best: making music.

The App Store’s rules for in-app payments created a roadblock for our planned platform monetization model. The app allows artists to pay each other for collaboration services, but the policies do not permit these transactions within the app.
Solution
We decided to move the payment process to the web version of Feeture. This decision followed best practices used by platforms like Spotify. To ensure users felt confident about this approach, we created clear instructions and reassured them that the process was secure and trustworthy.
Integrating Stripe for artist payouts turned out to be more complex than expected. The process for adding billing details was not intuitive, making it difficult for users to navigate.
Solution
Our team worked directly with Stripe’s support to fully understand the system and implement it correctly. To simplify things for users, we developed step-by-step guides and tutorial videos that explained the entire process in a clear and straightforward way.
The client came to us with a strong vision for the product, and it was crucial to align their ideas with what was feasible while earning their trust.
Solution
We prioritized open communication from the start. Through brainstorming sessions, detailed conversations, and visualized concepts, we helped the client refine their ideas and see how the product could take shape. This approach allowed us to build a strong partnership where the client trusted our expertise and relied on our recommendations.
It was quite stressful to launch the beta version. The team had to address multiple issues, resolve bugs, and handle user feedback while maintaining a tight schedule.
Solution
We added more resources and prioritized fixing the most critical issues first. We worked closely together with a client and stayed focused. As a result, the team ensured the app was ready for users while maintaining the quality we aimed for.
The lack of direct competitors made it hard to rely on usual market research methods. The client highlighted the need to create a unique product that would solve the problems specific to the music industry.
Solution
We created a user flow that replicated how musicians collaborate in real life and removed unnecessary complications. This approach made it easier for users to connect, communicate, and complete collaborations.
Users create accounts and provide collaboration terms such as delivery time, royalties, and primary rights. There is a thorough verification process using Instagram or manual checks to ensure only genuine artists join.
Search features allow users to find artists based on location, fee, artist type (solo or group), and other filters. The Explore page offers personalized recommendations. It shows artists with real-time stats and matching genres, styles, and locations for easy discovery.
Artists can send and receive detailed collaboration offers directly in the app. They can modify terms, finalize contracts, and use secure, legally binding agreements. Accepted offers transition into a structured collaboration process with chat and step-by-step guidelines for tasks, revisions, and deadlines.
After completing a collaboration, artists can leave reviews for each other. This helps build trust and makes it easier to evaluate potential partners.
Notifications alert users about new offers, messages, or important updates. The reminders help users stay engaged and manage their collaborations on time.
Payments are handled securely through the web version. The setup complies with platform policies and ensures smooth, reliable transactions between artists.
